TBQS Quantometer

Operating Principle

The turbine gas flowmeter is a velocity-based metering instrument. It passes through the rectifier where it is straightened and accelerated, driving the turbine to overcome mechanical resistance and begin rotating. When the torque reaches equilibrium, the rotational speed stabilizes. Within a certain flow range, the rotational speed of the turbine is proportional to the gas flow velocity. The turbine’s rotation is transmitted via the decelerating transmission mechanism and magnetic coupling connector to a mechanical counter reading unit mounted outside the housing, thus realizing counting and the output of the flow pulse signal (LF or HF).
