Laser-Based Gas Detector

The laser-based gas detector is an advanced safety device that can accurately detect natural gas leaks. Once the natural gas concentration reaches the preset alarm threshold, the device immediately triggers audio and visual alarms to alert users. At the same time, it swiftly transmits the alarm signal to connected equipment and promptly notifies the gas company and users. This ensures that relevant departments and personnel can take timely action for necessary handling and maintenance, effectively safeguarding home safety

Features

  • Precise Detection
High quality laser sensors ensure low false alarms and a wide detection range
  • High Performance
Rapid response, calibration-free, maintenance-free, featuring a modular design and low power consumption
  • Long-term Reliability
Resistant to moisture and unaffected by ethanol or acetic acid interference. Reusable with a service life of up to 10 years
  • Smart Connection
Can be linked with gas meters, solenoid valves, robotic arms, etc.

Operation Principle

The laser-based gas detector uses tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) to detect gases such as methane. It emits a laser beam of a specific wavelength. When the laser beam passes through an area containing the target gas, the gas absorbs the laser light. The detector measures the change in the laser beam’s intensity to determine the concentration of flammable gases in the air. This method offers precise and fast detection, effectively preventing gas leak accidents.
